Warwickshire Woman Scoops Prestigious Award

November 19, 2013

Annette Gann, Stratford upon Avon, has been awarded the Stand Out Member of the Year Award in the Annual Achievers Academy for Women Awards at the glittering event held at Hogarths Hotel Solihull last Friday.

She was presented with the coveted award by Jo Cameron, Founder and CEO of the Achievers Academy for Women and Lyn Bromley, MD of First Impressions.

Annette said that she was absolutely thrilled and delighted to have won and that it was a great honour to have been chosen.

“I put it down to the feedback I got that suggested I tend to ‘get the job done’ and am a go to positive person when someone is need of support or ideas. The women who voted are an outstanding group of business professionals and so having this kind of feedback means a lot”.

Having started the business in 2012 it has gone from strength to strength through referral. Annette has provided event and media support to West Midlands based international charity Baby Lifeline, who care for pregnant mothers and newborn babies, on their 2-day UK Mum Awards; also strategic marketing guidance to Astec IT Solutions, a leading supplier of network monitoring software to some of the world’s leading broadcasters. This Summer Pubstuff Ltd, the leading provider of recycled and sustainable contract furniture to pubs, hotels and the hospitality industry, appointed as their PR agency to support their continuing growth.

Annette beat off stiff competition from some of the UK’s leading women in business.

Jo Cameron said “I extend my congratulations to Annette in what has been a super year for AAW. Every year our awards become harder to come by and this year was no exception. We have some of the most incredible, inspiring women in our midst and we love to celebrate their successes with them.”

In her presentation during the evening, Jo Cameron took the guests through a ‘year in pictures’ which included exciting events such as the four-day Tenerife Rejuvenator Programme and launches in several cities throughout the UK.
